Maybe 747 can commission an economic study on the impact of kimchi global migration patterns due to economic levers and a host of other non-economic variables ?   I'm sure Ben can find a volunteer wannabe economist for free ?       Or a real one ?

Australia is not a great, their exchange rate is similiar to Canada. Anyways if they raise the prices too much then the local garages will become more competitve so the importers may suffer. I remember a time when I dread to see a Kimchi, cold lousy service - I think that was the time our exchange rate was poor. It doesn't attract good talent. I think it'll hit the quality of the Korean girls if the status quo is maintain - Korea is not a cheap place to live in. Other girls from counties with a lower cost of living may still see it as attractive, I wonder if thats why there are more Chinese girls recently.

It'll be interesting to see how this all play out.

Firstly, In Australia the price is much higher. And Kimchis won't provide such good services we got in Toronto.

Well no matter what, a 20% income reduction will definitely have an impact on kimchi supply. The supply curve will shift sharply to the left.

Brother, there is no need to worry about it. Here is why:

CDN$ has indeed drop 20% against USD$ from parity, however, Korean Won has actually gain against CDN$ in the past year. Please look at the one year chart below with Korean Won plot against Canadian dollar:

http://www.advfn.com/stock-market/FX/KRWCAD/chart

As long as the Korean mm are paid in Canadian dollar, their income has not changed at all so it shouldn't affect the supply. Having said that, it might be more attractive for the mm to work in the US because of rising dollar.

I hope you guys can sleep better tonight.

When the dollar drops ,  Canada is a destination for tier 2 and tier 3  kimchi.  Kimchi mm follow the money.   Canada attracts a small percentage of the global kimchi mm market.    Hence the so called legends would be considered Lower tiered and castaways in prime markets.    We Canadians tend to be navel gazers?

For those that think MM will go to US instead because USD is strong, you are wrong. I heard Canada a specifically GTA has one of the highest "minimum wage" average compared to most of the world. US is less for sure. I also confirmed with a mm that has worked in the States before.
