The 2023's Brazilian F-1 GP has just ended. The top 4 are: Max, Norris, Alonso, Perez.
Here are my thoughts:
1. It was a pitiful, shameful race for MB! I will give you my observations.
2. There was an accident which knocked out 2 cars, resulting in a red flag, and a restart. Max built up 1+" (second) at the end of the very first lap, from then on, he just cruised to victory. The race was 71 laps long, but Max did not win by 1.5+' margin, obviously, there was no incentive to push his car, he was keeping his race cards close to his chest. I still have the same question, how can RB be that much faster than the first runner-up??
3. The first runner-up was McClaren which used MB engine, but where was Hamilton? Well, he was close to 10th! What the FXXX was MB's technical staff doing? Even McClaren can beat MB by that much, why can MB learn something??
4. In 3rd place, was Aston Martin's Alonso. This is NOT the first time that AM finished ahead of MB in 2023 (Mind you, never in racing history!). MB is such a disappointment in 2023 & I will say the Technical Team has no shame.
5. Perez finished 4, just a mini second behind Alonso. I said that before, Perez was never as fast as Max.
As far as I can remember, MB tried Perez, many years, for a few races, then dropped him to pick Bottas, i.e. given the same car, Hamilton should be easily ahead of Perez; also if Hamilton had the same car, he should also be at least in third place, if not second.
MB's performance was an absolute disgrace!! |
