2022 F-1' GP's Race Schedule

The Canadian F-1 has ended.

Max, Sainz, Hamilton, Russell.

The race was tense & interesting ONLY during the last 15 laps after an Official Car appeared & all race cars bunched up to have a final 15-lap sprint.

It was a dry race -unlike Qualifying, & pit stop strategy + luck played a strong role.  However, Max was definitely faster, Team MB was lucky.

I will post a race highlights video when it becomes available.

The next stop for 2022's F-1 Championship race will be the UK GP, during the first week-end in JUL.

I believe there will be live telecast because the starting time in UK is Toronto's early morning, which means F-1 will not have to compete for available broadcast time with baseball or stock car racing (which drives along circles or ovals).

British drivers, like Hamilton & Russell, should know this race track well!

I would imagine any of the teams located in UK would know the track well too (ie. Red Bull, Williams, Mclaren)

British-born drivers with potential would have raced in Brands Hatch or Silverstone ever since they were old enough to drive a race car.  

Teams, even if based in UK, might have "imported" drivers whose knowledge of the tracks might be discounted.

That's true, I'm just thinking that they would do most of their testing in Silverstone, could be wrong on this though.

Practice Session of 2022's British F-1 GP has just concluded.

Please be reminded that it was a practice NOT Qualifying Session, but we can guess what might happen.
In this final Practice session, Max was clearing ahead of everybody else, however, all 4 close followers are within 0.5" of the leader.

1.  Although Max was ahead in the practice, I cannot speak for its power unit's reliability because during previous races, RB had several DNFs due to mechanical issue.  So did the Ferraris.

2.  MB improved & was inching forward.  MB did not exhibit any mechanical issues as display by RB & Ferrari in the first half of 2022's racing season.

I think this Race might be the best of 2022 so far as it will be CLOSELY competitive & interesting!

Sainz (Ferrari)     Max (RB)
LeClerc (Ferrari)  Perez (RB)
Hamilton (MB)     Norris

The top four cars all have a history of mechanical reliability issue,  IMHO, Hamilton has a better than average chance of making it to the podium! ....... well, we will see!
