This coming weekend sets the stage for 2022's Spanish F-1 GP.

MB claimed to have solved the myth of engine power,, etc., & will introduced improvement in Spain.  Other team, including the forerunners said the same thing too.

So, we will see!

The starting grid will be:
                  LeClerc   
Max
                  Sainz     
Russell
                  Perez
Hamilton

Ferrari was definitely faster.  RB's reliability issue re-surfaced.  MB improved slightly, but still too far behind the forerunners!

The Spanish F-1 ha finished.

The result:  Max, Perez, Russell, Sainz, Hamilton.

I followed the race via F-1 Official Website lap-by-lap written commentary.

The race was actually much more exciting than what could be written.

Lecler led for 1/2 the race, then lost power & retired.

Hamilton touched with Magnassen on the first lap, had a puncture, and dropped him to second last.  He crawled back to 4th with 3 laps to go (what a drive), but engine started to overheat. Team manager ordered him to ease off, so he finished 5th.

The next 2022 F-1 stop will be the Monaco F-1 on MAY29.

This will be an interesting race as MB has improved, not quite to the same level of Ferrari & RB BUT very close.

The equalizing factor is that Monaco has a narrow street circuit, DRS basically is non-existent, so MB has just as good a fighting chance as the others.  If it rains, it will be even more interesting!

1.  MB still has a lot of room to improve.  Time is running out, may be too late now even if they could come up with solutions in the next 2 races.

2.  There will be NO live telecast    

3.  Rain is in the forecast which will play into Hamilton's hand!
