Researching on 2nd hand Tesla cars

Recently I am wondering if getting 2nd hand Tesla electric car is worth it or as sound advise...

Gas pricing is going up hard and most of the time I drive in the city ...

Wondering if anyone here have had tesla for awhile and how is conditions of their car maintance in the long run ...

or if anyone have had the pleasure to purchase in the 2nd hand market, and how is the experience.. positive or negative .. and advise? or things we should watch out for?

Cheap gas car is still better at the moment.

How far do you drive per year? You won’t see the benefits of owning an electric car if you don’t drive often.

mine model s holds very well after one year ..

Zero maintenance cost. I guess maybe tire rotation down the road but that’s about it.

How are the battery holding up after a year? figuring that there must be a reason the car was let-go (as I am looking in the 2nd hand market) but if the pricing is good after considering other elements ... maybe it would be a good place to go ... has been buying 2nd hand cars ... but I have learn that you must do alot of homework before or it would be pretty much playing Russian Roulette

I feel like ppl have various unrelated reasons to sell a car so I’m not really concerned with the motivation behind. As far as battery is concerned, I haven't noticed any deterioration, but there should be some software that can tell you exactly how it holds up. From what I’ve heard, Tesla does a great job at battery management.

Buying Tesla second hand for good price is very difficult……. It actually doesn’t drop that much in price….

Like less then 20% drop at the 3 year mark…. If you are thinking 2nd hand to save money, suggestion is to consider new


Also depends which S 3 X Y model you are looking for…
