In theory we could, but given that over 90% of agencies and independents use fake pics, its hard to boycott them all.
Furthermore, many of them change names frequently, which renders boycotting futile.
A better way is to try to reward agencies and independents that use real pics. We can do this in several ways.
- Reward them by giving them our business.
- If all factors are roughly the same, pick the girl / agency that uses real pics.
- Be more lenient with them in other aspects that they don't do so well in. In consideration of the fact that they use real pics, give them a break when there is something else that you aren't satisfied with.
- Spread the word about them. Be vocal about it! Tell your friends, write reviews, let other agencies know (they all read what we write here even though many of them deny it) that we support certain agencies because they use real pics.
One thing I really like and we really should support more is how the forum moderators have made it a requirement for all reviews to mention if the ad photos are real or fake. By making this one of the main focus issues we can send a signal to agencies and independents (once again they read everything here even if they don't admit it) that this is something we care deeply about, and that we will warn each other about it.
