There will be two F-1 races in Austria - this weekend & the next.

Let us hope that there will be live TV coverage!

2021's F-1 is more competitive than before:
1.  Red Bull is much stronger, actually faster than MB, after "stealing" a lot of MB's technical staff.  MB is no longer the sure win team.
2.  Other teams have also improved.
3.  Maturing of younger drivers.

Too bad, we are getting less. non-existent TV live telecast!

No coverage of practice, qualifying, and the race.  There is not even a taped version.

Bottas was penalized for 3 grid positions for spinning in the pit lane. Pit lane is narrow & therefore there is a speed limit, Bottas use too much HP on cool tires and therefore spun.

So, the new first row grid is Max, then Hamilton!

The race has just finished.

Max, Hamilton, Bottas, Perez.

1.  RB is definitely faster than MB.
2.  Bottas almost cannot keep his 3rd position towards end of race as Team MGR made another blunder.  When Bottas was in 3rd & Perez was in 4th, Perez pitted to get a set of fresh tires which gave Perez the advantage to inch closer and closer.  If I were MB's MGR, as soon as Perez pitted,I will order Bottas to pit on the next lap so that Bottas can still stay in front while having fresh tires too. Strategy-wise, MB is "beatable".

The 2nd 2021 Austrian F-1 GP will be held this weekend.

Two practice sessions were held this morning (Toronto time).  Practice sessions can only give us indication of the capability of the cars, so don't take it too seriously.

However, I am prepared to say "MB is back" because the silver arrows were the two faster cars, with Max being 3rd fastest.

There will be one more practice session tomorrow, to be followed by Qualifying Session to decide grid position.

There were talks about possible rain in the next few days which will play into the hand of Hamilton!

1. There might be live coverage of the 2nd 2021 Austrian F-1 GP. However, don't bet on it because we have all be cheated many times before.

2. Hamilton signed a 2-year contract with MB & will stay with the Silver Arrow.  This means MB can now focus on the wing man for Hamilton, I think it is time to let Bottas go and grab George Russel. I will also get F-3's current leader, a Chinese driver by the name of Zhou as a backup, so that when Hamilton retires in 2 years, MB will have 2 maturing drivers!

Qualifying Session of 2021's 2nd Austrian F-1 GP has just finished.

When it counts, Max secured the pole, followed by Norris and Perez. Where are the silver arrows??  Quite a bit behind!  This is going to be Red Bull's year!
