Anyway, the 2019 F-1 Monaco GP will be held this coming SUN, of course, there will be live telecast.

The Monaco track is held on city streets temporarily converted to a race track, so it is short and full of tight turns.  There is NO escape route for mistakes, if you cut it too fine, you will kiss the wall.

This is a track for GOOD drivers, good drivers with skills can compete with faster cars.  Ayrton Senna, when he was alive, dominated Monaco GP, I think Senna won Monaco 6 times, plus one more which he should have won when leading but grazed a wall with only 2 (?) to go!

2019 Monaco  F-1 GP Practice:

The 3rd Session of practice has finished which is not Qualifying but can give us some indication of which has a stronger card.

LeClec was fastest, followed the two MBs.  Vettel crashed out which means he would not be a factor in the Qualifying session, granted there is a spare car for him but practice session is for the team and driver to set up the car properly and Vettel lost this opportunity.

Hamilton, Bottas, Max, Vettel.    This time, LeClerc crashed out!


The Monaco track is DIFFICULT to overtake.  Pole sitter has the advantage!

The 2019 Monaco F-1 GP was won by Hamilton.

It was a fairly boring race because:

1.  The local weather forecast said there will be rain which never came.
2.  Max's pit crew released him prematurely, brushed Bottas' car, was penalized for 5".
3.  Bottas had to pit again for flat tire chance due to "2"
4.  Vettel benefitted.
5.  Hamilton's intermediate tires were no good, so he drove slowly to protect his position.

Final result:  Hamilton, Vettel, Bottas

The 2019 Canadian F-1 GP will be held this coming SUN in Montreal.  There will be live telecast, of course.  I think the race starts at either 1 or 3 p.m.
