I went to the Toronto Molson Indy one year. Couldn't see a thing because of the crowds. Great to HEA ...
When you watch motor racing "on site", ground level is the worst. "Ring side" is not for watching motor racing, you must go to the highest point of spectator stand or the highest point of the landscape.
Putting it bluntly, don't watch motor racing from "vantage point", watch the race on TV!
Karting is totally different, it is quite possible to watch the whole race from one spot; there are many races for different classes/groups (weight/age/engine power), and are usually bumper to bumper, and are well worth watching them in person.
Give it a try someday, watch the national karting events only, not the local club events which are good but cannot compare with national, or better still international events. You will not regret this decision! |
