Link works except TIME deleted the story.

Basically it says males size, to be specific, length matters in fertility. A survey was conducted & they found that the longer the male organ, the better chance of hitting the bull's eye.

Therefore, I said "17inches" would be happy to read it!

In pre-agricultural societies everybody was having sex with everybody. There was no concept of monogamy back in those days...it was more tribal like. Sperm competition and having competitive sperm was probably the most important element back in the day. As a women would have sex with multiple partners...many times back to back....as paternity was not and engrained concept in those days.

Wider girth served as a vacuum to remove previous sperm and make way for the participants new sperm implants.
