现在学费年年涨，多村的房租也是高到天际，就不提由于油价跟供应链短缺带来的物价飞涨了。而且逛论坛的朋友多少还可能需要增加些玩乐的花销，一年10W+应该都挡不住。

It can go very low if you don't have much support from family.

Food costs can be controlled down to instant noodle every day as Elon Musk put it.

Rent a small basement / room instead of an apartment means $600 x 12 = $7200 or even lower.

Once started studying in college you can look for cash job to improve the cashflow.

It all depends on how resourceful you are.

It really depends on the program you are doing, but at least $15,000 per semester JUST for tuition is a good figure to start.
Then obviously you gotta add on rent and living expenses, not cheap overall.
