Don't have the software to enter (write) Chinese characters and don't know how to use pinyin.

Actually. the reason I type English is don't know how to switch input methods after upgraded to Win10.

Ctrl + space does not work any more!!! And I am too lazy to figure out the correct shortcut for switching input method

try "xunfei" at your app store, it works on both Cantonese and Mandarin, also tons of other Chinese dialects.

Besides the Joke, actually British ruled this world for long, One time they use to say that Sun Never sets in British empire .Most of the countries where they ruled like India , they were better physically , and while skin color gave a inferiority complex to natives . SO to look like British for them it was hard to change Skin color so they adopted English as social status . I have seen in these countries when ever they want to emphasis on ant point then they will try to say in English .SO I would say its more of inferiority complex which they try to overcome by speaking English
