Bill-C36 - how will it affect the donation?

Since the C36, I stopped hunting. I was wondering and couldn't figure out whether C36 will drop or raise the rate donation? (average now I think is 140-160HH) Hoping someone with more insights could share some thoughts. If the rate is predicted to raise in the long run, I would probably hunt more now before the actual change of price.

My theory on top of my head right now:

Because less people hunting ---> garage no customers ---> lower the rate to attract more
Because more dangerous & risky ---> less mm work ---> mm rate goes up

Applying the economics theory I learn in school. In the short-run, less people hunting means lower demand which should push price down, but at the same time the higher risk for keepers and mms will mean less supply and push price back up. So the 2 effects cancel each other out.

In the long-run, price will go up. MM is inelastic good because men will always be horny. The demand will decrease only temporarily but after a while the demand will bounce right back. The supply side won't bounce back though because higher risk means less suppliers. So eventually prices will increase.

Even though we complain about prices, what we are paying is actually quite low. After adjusting inflation, we are actually paying less than 5-10 years ago. The reason is because of all the kimchi competing and driving the price low. That is why there are so few dimsum left in the market. Sooner or later, immigration will tighten and then prices will skyrocket while supplies shrink.

Yeah sounds reasonable, supplies will eventually decrease, this I believe. When I am back from vacation, it'll be the time to hunt!

Prices only go up, never down. That applies to everything. We are lucky that the price have remained constant for the last 3 years. I expect a major market correction soon. Prices $180-200 will become the new norm.

You get what you pay for. Those $60-80 BP MMs are scary. I wouldn't go for the even if they were free.

Sex is a thousand years old business and will not go away. There are always supply and demand, it will even out in the long run. The only factor remain is inflation. Price up in a inflation time, and down in deflation.
