I agree with your explanation.
Like you said, everyone will have a reaction or emotion, and some people will overreact to their disappointment. A perfect example in recent memory, is how I finally went to Haidilao hot pot which opened in markham. I had never been to haidilao before, not even in China. My friend raved about it and told me they had the best food, the prettiest waitresses, and they treat you like king from the moment you enter with foot massages and such.
When I got there, none of that was true and the food was decent but overpriced. I wouldn't eat there again but I don't feel the shop intentionally landmined me, I was just stupid to believe my friend's shill! lol |
