straight to what point? what do you know about the girl if all that someone told you was "she is 7/10"?

• you don't know how old she is
• you don't know if she is your type (or what type)
• you don't know what she looks like
• you don't know if she is pretty or not (since some people will give 7 even for an average girl while others may consider 7 to be quite pretty)
  

giving scores like that is only useful in small groups of friends where everybody has similar tastes, or at least knows each other well enough to understand their tastes

on a forum like this, numeric scores like that are next useless........ in fact its a good way for shills to promote a girl while avoiding being called out, because you can't call them out for lying when they didn't say anything specific

Why so serious? Guess you don't like the scheme for a reason but it is the basic of this forum, it's your impression and yes it is better with a score than not.

Actually we agree that numeric scores are not informative, and often even misleading. Furthermore, its often used by shills to promote without having to provide concrete details for which they may get caught by. Thus we disencourage the use of numeric scores.
In our TORONTO section, we require that all reviews contain adequate written description, and numeric scores are entirely optional (meaning that a review cannot ONLY consist of numeric scores). In other sections of the forum, we do not actively enforce such rule, but we still encourage written description containing specific details which provides a reader with a mental picture and thus much more helpful.
