My friend is a contractor and he builds and renovates homes in the GTA and he says ironically most older homes do need a good duct cleaning every 2 years or so because a lot of build up does occur. He says almost no one does it because of the indian scammers with duct cleaning. so duct cleaning itself has a bad reputation even though it's kind of essential to your air quality of your home. some older homes tend to have a wet musky smell coming out the vents for this exact reason. This is the real tragedy that the scammers caused

Problem is that government and businesses could shut down a lot of scam callers, but they do not because they use it for elections and sales.

the phone network needs a major overhaul to block all these scam calls. The future generations are going to laugh at us dealing with phone scams on a daily basis.

I noticed that they keep changing their numbers, so it would not be easy for telecom to stop them. Though I don't think they really care

they would try to get your credit card number ，and  someone else will show up to do less work than you expect.
