2019's PGA CHAMPIONSHIP

This is one of the 4 major events in golf which will conclude this coming Sunday.

Yesterday was the first day (golf championships are played over a stretch of 4 days), it is too early to say who is in serious contention, but Kopta (check spelling) played steady and good golf.

Anyway, there will be daily live TV coverage, particularly Sunday of about 6 hours.  If you enjoy golf, watch it.

If you are not familiar with golf, it is unlike other sporting activities, it plays at a slow pace, has strange rules whch are sometimes out-dated.  The beauty of watching golf on TV is that you can still do other chores while watching the progress .

Playing golf is time consuming. about 6 hours per game, excluding travel time and waiting time, so one day is gone.  Green fees are not cheap, not to mention the costs of the clubs.

Yes, it is a game for those with plenty of time and above average income (yes, rich inheritance helps too!).

Koepka is untouchable now.  I, more or less, picked him as the winner after Day 1 of play.

Tiger wood, the sentimental favourite, didn't male the cut.

I have got "golf eyes" from Day 1.  

After 3 rounds, Koepka still lead by a wide margin.  No other player is even close and unless something unexpected happens, Koepka will win 2019's PGA Championship!

Just as expected Koepka won the 2019 PGA Championship.  However, he was NOT without weakness!

Koepka lost his cool and choked In the final 9 holes, he bogied 6 times.  If he had not led by 7 strokes at the end of SAT, he probably would have lost the championship.

This reminds me of his 2019 US Masters Final, he choked also and lost to Tiger Woods.

Remember Koepka's mental weakness, the next time he leads into the final round!
