现在吃饭到底该给多少小费合适

Gross profit on food is not very high, its wine, beer and alcohol where they make a killing, let say they buy a liter of vodka for 50 bucks but sell a shot for 8 bucks , how many shots in a liter....but its BS how the restaurant makes the patron give tips to balance out the servers "wage" so they can survive.....while the house profits, the wait staff get screwed if they don't get tipped and we the customers get screwed because we're "expected" to tip 15-25% on gratuity

现在很多地方最低都是选项15，有的更夸张起步选项就是20%，上次去DAVE BRUST,直接帮你按18%。怕给你给少了

even tea houses for dim sum have seating fee or tea charge of like 2-3 dollars a head i don't know if they raised the prices since i haven't gone but basically paying the house to sit down to eat in their restaurant pretty absurd

一般去店里吃给10% 外卖也是10% 但自取一般不给消费。外卖除非碰见态度差时间久的不会给消费一般多多少少都会给。消费取决于服务态度，现在回国叫个跑腿我都会客气的给一些。

哪有强制性的，只是建议。就算他们放在machine上，你也可以自己改的。只是一般不去折腾这个事而已
