I just don't understand the need to ask for a 0-10 score when a written description is so much more informative.
I can understand someone writing the review may want to just give a 0-10 score for convenience rather than to write a lengthy description. But i cannot understand why a reader would be too lazy to even read a few sentences.
Apart from convenience, numerical scores are terribly misinformative.
First you have the problem of people having different tastes.
Secondly, even for people with similar tastes, some give scores generously while others give harsh/strict scores.
Combine these 2 factors together, and one person's 8 could be another person's 5.
Written descriptions aren't perfect, but at least it can give readers some concrete idea of what to expect.
Does her face look natural or enhanced?
Is her look innocent, slutty, cute, cool, or what kind of style?
How heavy is her make up?
Is there any famous person who's look or style she resembles (and to what degree)?
Descriptions like the ones above at least helps the reader have some idea of what to expect.
If I simply described a girl as 7/10 for looks, and is "my cup of tea".
Do you have any idea what to expect? |
