A Troubling Trend - add-on service charges not disclosed in ads

Some of the regulars probably have also noticed this new twist in some SP's pricing scheme. 淇淇 is not the only one; in fact I think she is following other more experienced SPs, who started this trend - 琳琳 @私做 was another one, there may be others that I can't recall off-hand. This practice is problematic the way I see it, so I am writing to expose what I feel is a negative trend for those who are not aware of this practice.

I'm talking about those add-on charges for services that has always been included in the base price by most SPs. These SPs advertise a low starting price - eg: in 淇淇's case $150/40 min or $180/60 min; even just for half service 半套, sounds like a good prices, right? But they don't make it clear up front that if you want to shower with her, it's another $30. And it doesn't stop there; they will tease you with BBBJ, and then if you want cim, because she doesn't offer full service, it's another $50. So, you end up paying $230 for 40 min and you didn't even get full service. If you ask me, I would gladly pay $250/45 min, only $20 more and get full service with shower and cim included.

Now, I can see others arguing that the SPs can charge whatever price they want, for whatever service they want. I don't disagree! But that's not the problem! It's the fact that they don't make it clear up front, when, for example, showering is, in the vast majority of cases, already included in the base price! And isn't it something that the SP's would want the clients to do anyways? I mean, what if you say no to paying for showering, would they service you without a shower? I doublt it!

I don't think it is in our long-term interest to support this type of pricing scheme. It's similar to hidden fees; So, I say no thanks, I'll go elsewhere!

They also could be riding the coat tails of SPA's which operate with the same principle but with an even worse base service.  One example is for 210 / 40 you get HE with underwear MPA (no touching).  These SPA's put Ads out that look like VIP / QQ (or even better rates) but are in fact no where near the same price / value.

Actually I find that for Asian independent ads, the ones on this site tends to be more of an all-inclusive price, whereas Asian ads geared towards Westerners (such as on Leolist or similar sites) tend to list an artificially low price with extra charges (for anything from DFK to BBBJ and so on) only disclosed after the session started.

In fact, I asked more than one Asian independent whom I found advertising on both Asian and non-Asian sites, why they usually have lower prices on the non-Asian sites. They told me its just how the game works. Asians tend to have a wider menu of services that they expect to be standard (thus included in the price). Non-Asians on the other hand are more susceptible for up-selling.

All in all though, I agree with OP that prices should be transparent.
Ads should make clear what is included and what is not.

I did tried one of them a year or 2 ago... I was shocked when she show me the price list... luckily I had enough money at that time haha

Somewhat 騎虎難下 at that point, but at least the service was ok
But tbh its not worth it imo

Are these Chinese MMs? They think they’re worth so much more… but their service is so much worse.

Lol, sounds like a strip climb setup with the varying and up-selling.

I don’t like it at all and find that type of service to be very mood killer. I like the GFE and I am actually ok with the MM pushing back on a particular thing if they are not comfortable but some things like DfK should be disclosed prior…..

Some things like anal and CiM are used to being “special services”. Some white MM offer a GFE experience vs that of a PSE, which is fair too.
