100%support your idea. Members, new or senior, should contribute their experience, good or bad, with positive attitude. Bully should not be tolerated. On purpose attacking should be stopped or punished by mod asap. The form should really consider choosing local senior members as new mod, who may have better understanding of VAN market and respond faster as issue happening.

Thanks for your input. Its a good idea, but the challenge is in implementation.
Perhaps you can suggest a method/system of selecting a local member to mod the Van section, taking the following factors into consideration:
- Local agencies will do their UTMOST to hijack/corrupt the process in attempt to get one of their own people into this position of power.
- Even if we are able to select someone fair & honest into the position initially, local agencies will immediately try to bribe this person. Power corrupts, and it will be hard for them to resist the temptation to fall to the dark side. For us (owners of this forum), we have an incentive to reject their bribes because we know that short-term benefits (accepting bribes) will ruin the long-run viability of the forum. However, for anyone else, its in their own benefit to accept any short-term benefit they can get, since the long-term viability of the forum is of no concern to them.
- There is absolutely no point in trying to moralize or lecture the agencies into not doing #1 & #2. The money incentive trumps anything you can say to try to convince them. So if you want to implement a system, you have to first consider what they will do, and try to make the system hack-proof.
