For the week of June 2017, 100 distracted driving charges were laid.
Officers were riding the bus and watched driver using their phone while driving.
Guess what, $490 fine and 3 Demerit points.
I was chatting with a keeper and she got a ticket while driving. Personal phone was not connected to Bluetooth. Luckily she did not ask me to pay, haha. (Not really my fault, how would I know that she was driving at the time on HIGHWAY.)
Is it strictly limited to the use of cellphone while driving?
I wonder whether drinking coffee or eating while driving are also considered distracted driving.
