in fact, all garage now communicate with each other..so if your a regular customer if one garage it would not be hard for them to accept you. THey will just ask for ur number and ask the other keepers about it.

Are you sure that is happening?
It is like communicating with "enemy". One good way to ruin a competitor is to get a bad client to them.
I suggested to one shop to take down and check out new client credit card number to verify the guys true ID to prove he is kosher.
As shop trusts client with their mm, they should trust shop with their ID too.
Ya, i have recently been ask my number by one garage since they dont have my number on file, and they said they will ask the other keepers about my history
