I also have experimented with fasting over the last few years, have done periods of 16+8, 18+6, one meal a day, then fasting for 48 hours, 72 hours weekly. etc. You feel ups/downs, hungry, cold, low energy, but also periods of very high energy, aggression, sometimes don't sleep well due to hunger/cold.
One thing is consistent, almost never had any mental lapse, my mind was very fast and alert, that was the ketosis affect, my brain was using keto as fuel instead of glucose.
Sex wise definitely decreases your sex drive, not even a question. |
