Photoshop vs Lightroom
Getting into amateur photography just for fun, wondering if any experienced photographers can recommend some comparisons between when to use Photoshop vs when to use Lightroom. LR seems to be good for general colour correction, but is that all it does?
Also would appreciate some learning resources for tutorials on both if you guys have any good recommendations. Thanks I'm not professional, but for me Lightroom is enough for +90% of my needs. Photoshop really is overkill most of the time, unless you want to do really advanced stuff.
Basically, Lightroom is easier, simpler, and also helps me organize my photos better. For basic tweaking, Lightroom is more than enough. Once in a blue moon when I really want to play around and do stuff like focus stacking, merging images, and so on, I would go to Photoshop. Youtube is the best resource, they got tons of top notch tutorials you can access it for free. Agree... go checkout YouTube and find more details
