it's etiquette.  If you are the one being late, you should either cancel, or you pay the full hour still.

Very good points, it was me who took the risk of a half-hour because I had EMT'd the shop beforehand. I personally don't like to carry a lot of cash generally only have a few dozen in my car for groceries hahaha

I'm not familiar with ASB, do you have to be a good customer to cancel at that late of time?  If you are a new customer and cancel 30 minutes before an appointment, would they not block you?  Coming from Etobicoke normally he would not need much more than 30 minutes so he could not of had much more notice than that.

These days I would think you don't want to risk getting blocked from anywhere.

Agree that it is good etiquette to pay for the full time slot even if you are late as they had “reserved” the time for you.

This is the only real advantage that I see with a walk-in spa setup where they are not reserving anytime for you and I would feel much more fine walking away if the girl is performing poorly or just not a good match.

I did try Karina back when she was with Moonwaiting. She had good attitude, but the experience was somewhat poor. I booked for 45 minutes and felt rushed out after 30 minutes…..I do expect a GFE and some cuddling, massage or chatting would have been nice…never repeated with her…
