2019 F-1 Racing schedule

The 2019 British F-1 GP has just finished.

Since there was no live TV coverage - air time was given to Wimbleton Tennis, I went to F-1's Official Site and followed the race via lap-by-lap written commentary.

Hamilton, Bottas, LeCler was the finishing order.

Per written commentary, it was a very exciting race!  Pity, Wimbleton won, F-1 lost.

Vettel - the dirty driver was penalized 10" for causing an accident with Max!

So, another MB one-two.

2019's German F-1 GP will be held tomorrow, there will be live telecast, check your local listings.

The Official Qualifying session has finished.  The starting grid will be, Hamilton, Max, and Bottas.

Both Ferraris suffered engine problem and were out of contention.

The 2019 German F-1 GP will start in just over one hour, but it rained, still drizzling and the track is WET.

This will be an interesting race because rain is the great equalizer and the masters will excel.

We know Hamilton is good in the rain, Vettel and Bottas are one grade down, but what about Max, Lecler, and the others with less powerful engines but bigger hearts.

We will find out today!!

The German F-1 GP finished shortly around 11 a.m. Toronto time, but I really don't know how to describe the race without writing a long report.

Anyway, it was a race decided by tire strategies!   The race started wet, dried up a little, but weather said rain was coming but never did, so the team which changed tires at the right moment, won.

Max, made the right choice about tires + drove well, won.  Vettel, made the right decision re tires went from 20th on the grid to 2nd place.

Both MB made the wrong tire moves, Bottas DNF, Hamilton finished almost at the bottom.

The Canadian driver, Lance Stroll, finished 4th (I think), may be 5th as a result of correct and timely tire changes.

2019's Hungarian F-1 GP will be held tomorrow.

Will keep you posted re team and driver performance.

So far in practice, MB has "recovered" from it German disaster.  However, it was only practice, nothing is solid.  Have to wait a few more hours for Official Qualifying result to get some clue.

What happened to my posting this morning re Official Qualifying Result?  It is gone/disappeared!  

Anyway, Max, Bottas, Hamilton, LeClerc, Vettel.

I only watched half of the race as my boss (wife) asked me to take her D/T.  

According to F-1's official website, Hamilton drove a brilliant strategic race and beat Max (pole sitter) in the final few laps to deprive Max of a win.

Vettel (LeClerc was ordered to forfeit his position to Vettel so that Vettel can remain in the hunt for the championship which I think is a long gone conclusion that this year's Champion will NOT be Vettel)

Once I have located a full race video, I will up load and let all motor racing fans to enjoy!
