With so many sports activities going on in June, just don't forget that  the F-1 France GP is this coming SUN.

2019 France  F-1 GP's FP-2 has finished, it was Bottas, Hamilton, LeCler, Vettel.

There is another Practice Session SAT morning - FP-3, to be followed by Official Qualifying to decide the pole position.

Oh Yes, Ferrari requested review of (not appeal) Vettel's penalty which was rejected.  That is to be expected.  Basically the Stewards were saying, "Put your money where your mouth is, and I will give you an official reply."

With all 4 wheels out of the track, Vettel has no case, guaranteed.  If the grass portion is a wall, Vettel would have crashed out.  It is as simple as that.

Qualifying session has finished and produced the following result:

Hamilton, Bottas, LeCler.  Vettel managed only #7!

Another  1 - 2 finish for MB!


Very boring race, not much to talk about!  LeCler 3rd, Vettel came in 5th (I think.  If I manage Team Ferrari, I will not offer him a new contract when the current one expires!).

2019's Austrian F-1 GP is this coming Sunday.  

Nikki Lauda was Austrian, a 2-time World Champion, died one+ month ago, I believe both the Austrian government and F-1 community will have a special ceremony as a tribute to Nikki, in particular MB which Nikki had his final association.

Ferrari might  show some "gestures" too because it was Nikki who brought Ferrari two championships which Ferrari would certainly like to have in 2019.

Due to live telecast of WWCS, there was no live telecast of 2019's Austrian F-1 GP Qualifying session.

Per news report, the pole positions will be, LeClerc, Hamilton, Max, Bottas.  Vettel is in 10th.

LeClerc was 1/2" faster than Hamilton, that is a lot unless he qualified before it rained (but I wouldn't know as there was no TV coverage).

Anyway, Vettel can think of retirement after 2019 now!

The 2019 Astrian F-1 GP.

What an entertaining year!

The starting grid changed because Hamilton was penalized and demoted to 4th because he impeded another driver during qualifying.  The revised grid was then LeCler, Bottas, Max, Hamilton.

However, Max stalled (not quite but literally) and dropped to 9th or something, but he crawled his way back with good driving and tire strategy and at the 2nd last lap, he finally inched passed LeCler and snatched first and won.

LeCler was unlucky again, led all the way until the end and lost due to tire losing grip.

Third went to Bottas.

MB could not perform well due to engine overheating.  

With the rise of Red Bull and maturing of a few young driver, balance of 2019 will be fun!

2019's British F-1 GP is this Sunday.

There will be live telecast, I suspect early in the morning, like 0600 - 0700.  The British F1-GP is Hamilton's "home court", he is very familiar with it, I think he will do well.

1.  There may not be a live telecast of the 2019 British F-1 GP due to live cast of Wimbleton Tennis Final.  

2.  The Official Quyalifying Result:
Bottas, Hamilton, LeCler, Max, Gasly, Vettel.

Vettel has a contract with Ferrari which ends after 2020 season.  After which, he will be just like Kimi.
