Market itself is mostly free.
Apple used to be king of the hill and for good reason. New innovations and good customer service go with HIGH PRICE. It created luxury or high end image for show.
Not anymore. Competition caught on and high price may not sell. Now Apple rely on restriction from US government to distribute Huawei phones by telecom companies. Most phones in US are subsidized by telecoms. So there are signs of price reduction in the name of trade in to move the new phones.
Cannot really blame China economy slowing for reduction of Chinese market.
Remember smartphone is the ONLY item that no Chinese will do without and willing to spend big money on them, if they are worth it.
