Of course Real EVA air novatel is NOT suitable for clients.
Just say that staying with friends and relatives to not stay there, though room is free and probably shared with fellow attendants.

Also it could be due to the weekly flight schedule availability.
Do not forget they also have biological plus financial needs.  Win win.  May be pilots are not too much fun.

BTW, still remember a super pretty attendant I met long time ago to Taiwan on China airlines from SF trip.  Movie star grade and NOT SEXY type.
