If you are a golfer and did not watch today's final round of the PGA Championship, you are missing a lot...........
It was won by Brooks Koepka who played consistant golf, nothing fancy, just shooting straight and making all the necessary putts (he missed easy one though). Tiger came in second, and Adam Scott in third.
The sentimental favourite was Tiger Woods who was "sidelined" due to back injury and went through several surgeries to make it right again. So, Tiger was dormant for 10+ years. During Tiger's absence, TV viewership of golf events plummeted.
2018 is the first year that Tiger played again, not extraordinary but hanging in there. however, Tiger played brilliantly this time around.
After first day, he was even.
Second day, he was -3.
Third day, he was -8.
At the end of Day 4, he was -14.
If he had made an "eagle" yesterday in a Par 5 hole, there might even be a play-off today.
Tiger made several outstanding shots and got himself in trouble in a few as well.
Anyway, today's PGA Championship was well worth the time watching (5 hours!).
Once I could find highlights of the Championship, I will copy and post for you all to review.
