如果你英文程度不高, 建議你看中文新聞比較好, 否則看得一知半解, 甚至完全誤解了整體意思.

這個article完全沒說過掃黃. 而在加拿大, 警方一直都關注sexual trafficking, 即是指那些用暴力和恐嚇來操控女性賣淫那種.

這些一般都在以前Backpage即現在Leolist上放廣告的. 不去找那些BP/LL上的MM就不會遇到. 正常大店, MM全都滿了法定年齡又是自願的, 警察都不會掃.

這份article主要是講解那些sex traffickers所用的新技倆. 而不是說要搞什麼掃黃行動.

Glanced over headline page of one of the two Chinese newspapers on Sunday.

Headlines says city will restrict the issue of holistic license for spa attendants. It is caused by the concern of activities in the spa.

This kind of negative news will DEFINITELY attract LE attention.
Would not be surprised that LE will do something to show that they are on the job and city is under control. Too much heat I would say.
