Safety car is out.
Ferrari pitted and change back to the old soft tires.
Mercedes stayed out for positioning.
Lining up with Bottas, Vettel and Hamilton.
We'll see what happen.

I was right on with my "forecast". Hamilton lost his lead to Vettel before the first corner due to tire grip, he was further pushed around by Kimi and went to the back of the pack.

And as expected, Hamilton used one less pit stop and eventually finished 2nd, while Vettel came in first.

I will pat myself on the back for the knowledge and "foresight"!

It came across my mind even before the race because if Vettel hits Hamilton, both cars could go out, and it not help Vettel. It would make more sense if a non-contender who happens to be a team mate could do the dirty work.

Race Stewards also expressed their views subtly by imposing a 10" penalty on Kimi, instead of 5" when Bottas was hit.

Oh yes, the German F-1 GP is this Sunday, so far in practice, Max was quickest, followed by the 2 MBs.

Hamilton developed hydrolic problem and "no time".

Vettel has the pole, then Bottas, and Kimi. Advantage Vettel as he only lead in championship standing, Hamilton must start from back of grid. Dejavu!

Vettel is out (went into the wall)...Looks like there was issue with his right front wheel, it was locking up.
Hamilton, Bottas, Kimi going into 7 laps left to go.
