Kimi recorded the fastest ever record at Monza and secured the pole.  Vettel was 2nd, just 0.01" ahead of Hamilton, Bottas was 4th.

So Ferrarri x 2, then MB x 2, took up the first two rows.

The Italian Formula-1 GP has just finished - Hamilton, Kimi, Bottas.

MB won with better tire strategy, but Ferrari has faster cars.

Vettel took himself out on Turn 2 yt trying to bump Hamilton out with his right rear tire but it backfired and forced himself into a spin + damaging the front wing.  Stewards called it a race incident, but with my scrutineering eyes, and if we must place the blame, Vettel should take it.

Also Max has developed from a dare devil young driver to a dirty driver too.

After the Italian F-1 GP, Hamilton has a lead of 30 points Vs Vettel in the Championship standing.  This is HUGE and almost impossible for Vettel to overcome in the remaining 7 races.

Why is that so?  For each race, the winner gets 25 points while the runner-up gets 17, an 8-point difference.

30 points divide into 7 races, roughly 4+ races.  Granted Ferrari's engine is more powerful than MB this year, even if Hamilton does not win and Vettel wins at least 4 races in the remaining races, but as long as Hamilton can come in 2nd, he is still ahead for the final showdown of 3 races.

Don't forget:
1.  Hamilton is a more consistent driver than Vettel (not to mention a better driver).  So far Vettel's dirty driving handicaps only himself.  In short, Vettel is more prone to making mistakes than Hamilton.
2.  There are other drivers who want to have a say in the Championship race, particularly Kimi who wants to prove Ferrari Management wrong by not signing him for at least one more year (please refer #82 for my views).
(So far, Ferrari hasn't sign any driver yet.  By not offering a ride to a race-proven, former F-1 champion like Kimi, who has been driving better than Vettel in the last 6 race, in my view is bordering on a personal insult.)

We will see but I think Hamilton has already locked up 2018's Championship!

Ferrari has sign with a young, up and coming driver to replace Kimmi:

When a young, promising driver moves up one notch to a bigger arena, there is a learning curve of about a year, so in 2019, we can expect Vettel fighting MB alone  and without a solid wing man.

Come 2020, and if the new driver is any good (Vettel of course will be another year older), Vettel has to fend him off too in addition to worrying about MB!

2018's F-1 Singapore GP has finished the Qualifying Session with the following results:

Hamilton, Max
Vettel, Bottas,
Kimi, Ricciardo

Unless Vettel can overtake Max at the first corner, he will have difficulty passing him, because Max will not give up his position easily + Vettel cannot afford another crash out or the season will definitely be over.

With regard to live telecast, since the race will be run at night which helps Toronto fans, as we can view it live at 0800.  Check your local TV listings.

Well, well, well, Hamilton has one hand on the handle of 2018 F-1 Driver's Championship Trophy by winning the Singapore F-1 GP!

Max came in 2nd, Vettel managed only 3rd.

It is game over for Vettel, better drive (not lucky, he has a faster Ferrari this year!) in 2019!

2018's Russian F-1 GP is held this coming Sunday.  This is the 3rd last race of the year and it is a done deal that Hamilton will win the championship UNLESS he DNF in one race while Vettel wins all the remaining races.  That will be a looooooooooooong shot.

Vettel has himself to blame for not winning the Drivers' Championship this year as Ferrari has a faster car in most of the races, but Vettel's dirty, reckless driving finally caught up with him.

There should be a live telecast, check your local listing for exact times.
