Chinatown street food recommendation ?

planning to go to china town this weekend (toronto). I want to try out lots of street food instead of going to a restaurant. What are some reccomendations? + how can i not get overcharged? i can't speak chinese

There aren't a lot of street food but I think if there were, there would be signs in English & Chinese with clearly stated prices.

You missed the annual Chinatown Festival happened in mid-August. It was a two days weekend event and they closed down the intersection between Dundas/Spadina. The event had a lot of street foods (and entertainments).
