How do we create a WECHAT PAY from Canada

Could we deposit money into WeChat Pay from Canada?
Either link to credit card, debit card or just plain old Cash.

That might help to spend money in China, just like Octopus in HK, very convenient indeed.

I tried to set it up before (last year, unless it has been changed), I don't think you can link "a" card issues from a bank in Canada to Wechat. It must be a card issues in China. You can have someone send you money though. However, without a card link to it, there are a lot of restrictions.

You are right.  Confirmed by Dushi ca article.
Has to be China Bank in China account ONLY.
