如何練習英文呢？

我刚来的时候，英语及其的差。我感觉看电视最有帮助，什么英文电视都行。另外就是沟通，最好找个说英语的工作地方。

我也来学习学习。
感觉自己进步很慢，基本是要和自己工作生活有关的单词常见了自己才记得，不常见的新单词，见几次就查几次字典...
自己词汇量不够，感觉看英语节目帮助不大，不懂的单词怎么听都是不懂的，只有熟悉了单词后看节目才会改善自己听力

Try Google translate.
Enter Chinese and get the English version,  press the speaker icon and you will hear the pronunciation of the word.  Again mostly single word,  NOT a phrase.

Your method is good to learn the word.
But in usual, I don't check any words. Unless it is necessary for me to know the meaning of the word.
And I am lazy to review new words, so it is hard for me to improve my vocabulary if I can't see the new words frequently in my daily life.

Then find some Canadian friends, boy or girl (better to be female , eh) to just bull shit a storm.
They will correct you by asking what the hell you just said.
Do not be shy.  
Nothing venture nothing gain.  Develop thick skin.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers.
