How good is the Toronto economy ?

In spite of the million dollar house in the TO market.
I found it interesting that I was asked by a elder Chinese lady about the MacDonald location at Winco next to Home depot next to First Markham place.
She wanted to buy 67 cents burger from there and took the bus to Winco to get vegetables.
Told her I would drop her off at Warden and 7 McDonald but she wanted to buy vegetables.

Next thing you know there was a LONG LINE UP everywhere for cheap burger.  50 years anniversary for first McD in Canada in 1967
Was it worth it to get a shitty burger, I wonder.
