1. Highly skilled workers will apply artificial intelligence based solutions
The high demand for talent is a driver for workforce digitization. Global labor markets are reaching a crisis point as the supply chain of skilled workers struggles to keep pace with demand.
“The banking system has possibly the worst ratio of all industries of highly paid people performing tasks that do little to add value.”
– Daniel Nadler is CEO of Kensho Technologies
This is more evident in the case of highly skilled clerical workers. This group is being used as an use-case by entrepreneurs to ease the labor issues through the application of new technologies such as on-demand crowd sourced talent and artificial intelligence based solutions.
2. Only 25% of companies have already deployed a strategy to address workforce digitization
Nevertheless half of companies have devised the strategy. Barriers to taking action on workforce digitization include an absence of technical knowledge, business process too hard to change and an admitted lack of a desire to innovate. This does not mean workforce digitization technologies are not being used – quite the opposite – but they are not being deployed strategically.
3. Robotics will decrease unemployment
Robotics have the potential to increase employment through increased competitiveness. Companies are trying to better utilize their high talent employee hours by using robots to perform repetitive tasks so as to deploy new projects that weren’t possible due to time constraints.
“Robots are not a replacement for humans, but a tool that is helping to make their job more efficient and interesting.”
– Mr Brooks of Rethink Robotics
4. Humans will no longer aggregate data
Artificial intelligence is barely in a Data Analysis status as we speak. With the advent of Big data and the increasing volume of data collected it has become imperative for companies to use Artificial intelligence in the place of clerical staff to process, compile & integrate information sources efficiently. Possibilities seems to go much longer.
5. Crowdsourced labour = scalability
The range of skills accessible to employers is seemingly limitless with express data available on the speed, accuracy and quality through reviews to make informed decisions when there is a need to scale labor up or down based on demand what represents a powerful advantage for companies.
“Crowdsourcing is an executive—not marketing—capability. It’s something your CEOs need to engage in.”
– Sean Moffitt, Wikibrands
However, having short term labor prevents organizations from building knowledge and makes itself open to regulatory intervention.
6. Workforce digitalization is noticed as a threat to current employees
Workforce digitalization is still noticed as a threat to current employees. Though the employees are eager to benefit from the digitization they are also fearful about losing their jobs. Survey respondents value to apply the workforce digitization strategically, both by protecting the value of engagement, loyalty & the accumulated knowledge of the employees and benefitting the organization.
The following is a Snapshot  of important pointers that are shaping each of the technological trends.

How about house building via Prefabricated components in the temperature controlled factory and move them to the site to ASSEMBLE via NUTS and SPOTS.    Last waste of materials and assembly line approach instead of custom built solution ON SITE.

Already used extensively in China multi story buildings contruction.  Even Marriott hotel is testing that approach  in USA.
