Why do mm's like to express themselves with tattoo and naval pins

Just visit mm yesterday and found her with BOTH naval pin and tattoo on her days off.

As you see most ads will say that mm got no tattoo and non smoker as a feature, why would they want to do the tattoo then?

Must be a human psychology thing with them.
