Illegal cigarette sales reduction

CRA already used and promoted their tactics to reduce income tax fraud by providing rewards for reporting.

Illegal cigarettes sales have been going through up and down with the reduction in tobacco tax and then increase when the illegal sales slow, then illegals will go up after tax increase.

The better way to stop the sale is to use same tactic as CRA.  Not sure if it is done, but anyway not known to average public.

Saw on KwongTung provincial TV progarm which actually published rewards of how many cartons of illegal caught, how much MONEY the rewards is.  This is a lot better to gather info on the sales using manpower from LE,  rather let the public report and follow up on the lead.
