Dialect (Mandarin) from different area

After experiencing the conversation with quite a few people of different gender.

For speaking in Mandarin, I definitely prefer those from the North. One city about 100 miles north of Beijing apparently is the PERFECT Mandarin accent. They are promoted as the news anchors for most broadcast.

When I talked with the North people, their sound just drove me crazy.
But unfortunately the more south the people are, most of the time it is not good sounding, though I was brought up in HK. People from Taiwan or Fujian if loaded with local accent are not music to my ear.

Amazing that a Mongol person can speak such amazing Mandarin that I found it is pure music to my ears.

French was the most beautiful dialect I was told, but now I am not sure.

I like the Taiwanese accent by far, especially for girls. Northern accent has too much of the "er" sound, gets annoying after awhile. You heard anyone from the 四川 province lol, their mandarin is jokes.

其实中国要是和欧洲一样一直没统一变成小国家咱们能每人自带三个语言。其实各种方言到欧洲就成不同语言了好强悍。

其实现在大家的方言已经淡了很多了，要是真正那些老人家讲的方言，也许本地的孩子都不一定能听得懂
