That article actually mentioned that there was one fight already.  It was current BF vs ex BF.  Current BF had Thai boxing training of 8 years and it was the girl Kiki telling Kay (current BF) to go after the ex for the kill.   If that is the case, this girl Kiki is indeed involved in the death.  There was no love battle.  Current fighting the Ex caused by the girl.   Not 2 boys fighting over a girl.
