The biggest complishment of Trump by now has to be nominated and confirmed Neil Gorsuch as the Supreme Court Justice, restore balance of the court as conservative favour. This effort will out last any of Trumps agendas,  Trump's presidency or even Trump himself. Funny is, this hardly made any headlight of news.

Adminstration level is all bullsxxt, only the law matter.

He had it done because he had republican House and Senate by his side, would have done nothing if he is on out with them. Republican has to do it in any costs, anyway.

You are absolutely right about his relationships with those deep red power houses, he pissed off them so many times and he doesnt seen to care.

Trump is Trump.  He is not a Republican and did not care for Republicans.

Badly in need of a WIN and got it with the Harvey/Irma relief funding and kicked the can down the road for dept ceiling lifting.  Funny thing is that issue was raised by Republicans.
Dems want to totally remove the debt ceiling.  It is for PAST and Already spent money, not FUTURE budget.
So can one NOT pay for it after it was SPENT and the credit card bill is HERE.  That is NOT credit limit increase.

US Health Insurance debacle:

Almost all OECD countries have universal health insurance of different types.
But US does not.  ACA (Affordable Care Act, aka Obama care) is the closest to it, still not universal.

US has highest outlay per capita vs other countries.

Funny that anyone employed full time in most large companies got it.  If you were poor, you will get Medicaid from the State, and old, you will get Medicare from Federal.

It is the MIDDLE class that gets killed by medical expenditures.

TRUMP just wanted to show his base and other Repuplicans that he TRIED.  Did not even care or know what was proposed in the law.  Just want to SIGN some paper to declare that he did it and therefore WON.

If he removes the ACA subsidy and caused more issues with ACA, it will definitely be dying in the process.
