So far , 4 Federal Judges (out of less than 3000 in US) upheld stay of Trump EO (executive order) on travel ban for 7 countries citizens based on the constitution violation with religion.
Next step most likely Supreme Court with 4 to 4 justices.
If tied, then the lower court ruling stays.
TRUMP loses.

White house announced that One China Policy will still hold true.
This is after personal talk between Xi and Trump so China relationship can still exist between US and China.
Trump finally sent a message to wish China   Happy New Year (belated though).

Case in points.
On TRMS on MSNBC lately, Rachel (Rhodes Scholar and Lesbian) mentioned 2 possible corruption incidents involving Trump family.
1. Russia related, a partner with W. Ross (commerce secretary billionaire) in Bank of Cypress Russian fertilizer Billionare too bought Trump mansion in Florida for 40 MM above original purchase price from Trump and tore down the mansion, never lived in.   That is a brbe.

2. China, another communist country, my motherland.   AMBAN insurance wants to buy 666 5th ave building for 400 MM above original purchase price from Kushner family (son in law of Trump, senior Trump advisor). That may be blocked by US Foreign Investment Council as Amban is a China State owned company. See how easy to bribe the politician if not for Public Media disclosure.

N. Korea dictator "Crazy Fat kid" as coined by J. McCain the senator is INDEED totally crazy and bad for Korean people.

Even as China stopped the import of COAL from N. Korea for remainder of THIS year, that may not be enough.  Got to stop the EXPORT into N. Korea as well.  Only China can crush the regime.

But China is unwilling to let the buffer zone disappear with a stronger Korea next door plus Japan.

Now this week before the meeting with President Xi next week, Trump is trying to show China that it did not like the Chinese trade policy with the large trade surplus.  May be that is the card Trump is trying to play to "trade" with China on the bad things Chinese does to forgive China if China did something to punish N. Korea to submission.

《星岛日报》报道，美国官员透露，崔天凯和库什纳过去数月紧密接触和磋商，促成了这次高峰会谈。两人同意选定佛州马阿拉歌庄园为峰会地点。特朗普和习近平将在会谈结束后发表联合声明，崔天凯已把声明的草稿送交给库什纳过目。

专家说，中、美两国在经济贸易、安全及其他事务上都有重大分歧，而现时仍然是特朗普上任初期，在这个时候安排这个峰会，极之重要。在处理这些分歧的过程中，库什纳将担当一个重要角色。

库什纳现时在白宫内担任特朗普的高级顾问，引起不少争议。有人批评特朗普用人唯亲。然而，库什纳又的确发挥他的作用。今年2月初，他首次发挥影响力，与崔天凯促成特朗普和习近平通电话，尝试破冰及修补关系。在那次通话中，特普朗保证奉行了40年的“一个中国”政策。

那次电话对话之后，崔天凯继续接触库什纳，邀请其妻子伊万卡和女儿去中国大使馆参加庆祝农历新年的活动。

在即将举行的峰会上，特普朗普希望得到中方的回报，到时会向习近平施加压力，要求中方运用影响力，阻止北韩继续推动核子和导弹发展计划。他又扬言，会在中、美贸失衡的问题上向习近平提出抗议。

有分析家警告称，如果特朗普摆出过份强硬的态度，例如在北韩问题上向中方发出最后通牒的话，可能会带来反效果。

佛州马阿拉歌庄园有“美国南方白宫”之称。习近平将在该处逗留25小时。他是不打高尔夫球的，除了举行峰会和出席晚宴外，他和特朗普其余时间会做些什么，仍有待有关部门的官员安排。
