2017 Formula 1's 2nd stop is in Shanghai China.

Due to time difference, Toronto can view the live telecast at about 0200 tomorrow morning.  

Anyway, Hamilton secured pole position in as many races, followed by Vettel, then Bottas.

Based on first race's performance in Australia, Ferrari is fast and is closing the gap Vs MB, Red Bull is fairly consistent.  2017 should be an interesting year for F-1 !

The 2017 China GP has just finished, Lewis Hamilton led from start to finish to win and was never challenged.  In short, no contest!

The 3rd stop of 2017's F1, is in Bahrain.

Qualifying/time trial is on SAT.  Friday's practice times had been posted but it meant nothing as Teams were still busy setting up the cars for two more rounds of practice, then qualifying.

All that I can say is that 2017's racing will be a lot closer than 2016.

Don't miss the start of 2017's Bahrain F1 Race early Sunday morning, Toronto time!

Why?  Qualifying result is out, only 0.06 seconds separating the top 3 cars, from 3 teams, and less than 0.5 seconds for top 6 cars.  The start will be a real toss up.  

IF there is no clean start, it could wipe out all top 6 cars at the first corner!

There will not be a live telecast of the Bahrain race.  Instead, there is a taped race at 1500 on TSN-2 which is Channel in my area.  So double check your TV guide.

Reminder, just don't be late.  I expect a pile up at the start when driver jockey for positions!

I went to Formula1's official website and found the result of todays Bahrain Grand Prix.

Vettel, Hamilton, Bottas, and Kimmi in that order.  Hamilton lost in a pit stop, just like the first race of the year.

MB must now review their pit stop decision and speed in completing the pit stop.

I can't wait to see the taped race at 1500 Toronto time.

Just finished watching the taped race.

Team MGT should take responsibility for the pit penalty because Bottas went in for the pit stop first, but before Bottas could finish, Hamilton needed to come in and he was informed that Bottas was in, so he slowed down on the inward bound to the pit which was deemed intentional to slow down Ricciardo who was behind him, and was given 5" penalty.  So Hamilton's fate was sealed!

The 4th stop of 2017's Formula 1 is at Sochi, Russia, this Sunday.

Official qualifying will be on SAT (today).  

At the end of official practice session, 2 Ferarris are faster the 2 MBs.  That was only practice, don't put too much weight on it.

The race may not be shown on TV.  Internet is a faster way.

Official qualifying for Russian GP is over.  

Grid position is exactly identical to the official practice, i.e. 2 Ferarris in front row, 2 MBs in 2nd row.1
