Singapore's F1 Official Qualifying has finished.  Vettel, Max, Ricciardo, Kimi, Hamilton, Bottas, in that order = Ferari, Red Bull, MB.

The Singapore circuit is not easy to overtake, that could well be the finishing order as well!

Channel 30 in my area.  Check your local TV listings for TSN.


Please note 0755 not 0800.  0800 is when they start racing, might have turned the first corner already and that is where all the pushing, shoveling take place before settling down.

I think the BEST of 2017's Singapore F-1 GP was in the first corner of the first lap.

Firstly, the track was wet due to rain before and during the race.  At the start, Vettel moved left to squeeze Max, without knowing that his team mate already did that and the two collided.  Momentum of the impact moved both cars forward and Kimi collected his Ferrari team-mate.

The happiest driver was Hamilton, he started fifth as MB was not as fast as Ferrari and Red Bull in Qualifying, all the accidents put him in front.

IMHO, Hamilton, Verstappen (Max), Vettel, Ricciardo, Stroll (Canadian) are the best RAIN drivers, within one lap Hamilton was 4" ahead of Ricciardo!

Unless there is mechanical problem or accidents, Hamilton will win the Singapore GP!

The race is still in progress, Stroll (Canadian) moved from way down to 8th!  That's is what a good rain driver can do with an inferior car in wet conditions!

The Singapore F-1 has just finished.  Hamilton, Ricciardo, Bottas.

The best thing which came out of this race was that Vettel - the dirtiest F-1 driver got he deserved, he took his team-mate out while trying to block Max Verstappen.  Not sure whether Race Officials will give him further penalty.

There is finally a Race God looking after all affairs!

This was how Vettel intentionally squeezed left at the start of Singapore F-1 to block Max, but took out his team-mate - Kimmi, Max Verstappen of Red Bull, and thank God, himself as well:

With only 5 (?) races left, Vettel has little chance of catching Hamilton!

This is a fair result, as Hamilton is a better driver than Vettel and a much better person!

There are 6 mores race left in 2017's F1 calendar, one in SEP., 3 in OCT., and 2 in NOV. and that is it for the season.

Since Hamilton is leading by 28 points, and as long as finished each race, he will win 2017's Championship, making him a 4-time F1 Championship winner.  However, knowing Hamilton's style, he will continue to fight for top honours in each race, just to prove that it is no fluke, and had he left MaClaren 2 - 3 years earlier, he could have won a lot more championships and to prove that he is the "real deal" and not Vettel!

Looking forward to 2018, Ferrari only signed Kimi for one more year, he will probably be gone.  Ferrari has a vacancy for an up-and-coming young driver with potential, and if Lance Stroll is not tied down by a contract, I will take him.

For all prospects wanting to join Ferrari, they must keep in mind that Vettel is a bad mentor and an extremely selfish driver/team-mate!

If I own Team Ferrari, I will consider Alonso for one year and one year only because he is a multi F1 Championship winner and will not be intimidated by Vettel, but may not be able to get alone with Vettel who is a real pain in the butt!
