Best sushi in the GTA?

If you want authentic and amazing sushi, Zen in Markham and Shoushin, Yasu, and JaBistro in Downtown Toronto are main sushi places with chef's choice and a la carte/pick your own menus, raw and cooked.

I haven't tried JaBistro or Shoushin yet (want to), but Zen>Yasu, and JaBistro is apparently tiered below the other 3.

Lots of AYCE sushi places in Toronto and GTA, and they are for the most part the same quality (average) and Chinese owned.

Sushi Legend in Scarborough is decent AYCE, but Kaka in Markham has higher quality than most AYCE places.

oh ok, well i guess its the same everywhere almost for AYCE? (all of calgary AYCE is also chinese owned)

Kaka has a huge line up during weekends usually. I personally prefer Sushi Legend over Kaka as Kaka's overall quality is inconsistent.

Shoushin is good. I particularly liked their O Toro and Uni (they source the Uni from Boston I believe, also cool video of the chef's knife skills if you Google Shoushin Avocado)

Taro's Fish is quite good, especially for the price.
