Mazda is currently owned by Ford. It should be technically excluded from the J-Car list.

If you are looking at a longer time horizon, then yes.

I consider Land Rover as Indian, Volve as Chinese. The subsidiaries will be influenced by the patent holding company in one way or another, corporate culture, labor, R&D, targeted customer, just to name a few.
