J-cars are more and more popular in China now. Honda, toyota, nissan ,suzuki, just name a few.
We all know German cars are better and are truely of high quality. such as Audi, Benz, BMW
or Italian Lambo.. British Bentley

Even in the states, we find a lot of J-cars running on the street. J people even adverstises them as :where there is a road, there is a J car.
What is the success secret of J cars?

Cheap but still reliable.  Attention to detail.
Go electric like Telsla and GM.  May create another oil crisis,  too little oil demand with more electric cars on the road

but J cars are not of  the highest quality.
'性价比” is their success secret.

Same with computer, smartphone, and all others.
Nobody said SONY phone and laptop are better than apple.

Japanese cars started off as cheap cars, about half the price of American cars, not anymore!

World wide oil crisis in the 60's provided a heaven-sent opportunity to get American consumers to have a 2nd look at J cars.

What the American discovered, surprised themselves, the J cars were not only cheaper, but also more economical and reliable.

From then on, J cars took off.  Today, J cars sell at a higher price than their American counterparts.

Look who is coming, the Korean cars!  K cars are following the foot steps of J cars in every way and are almost as good and reliable.

Just in case, 747 brothers are not aware of the world wide oil crisis in the 60's, some backgrounders:

The Arab countries headed by Egypt, with USSR's blessing, formed a coalition, to eliminate Israel who was backed by USA.

Whenever there is a war or about to have a war, oil prices will go up.  At that time, Middle-east was the only place to have oil aside from USA (forget about the minor oil producing countries of today, e.g. Indonesia, Central America, etc.) Oil was less than US$1.00 a barrel.  I am not sure now but was actually around US$0.20 a barrel! (one year ago, oil price was $150 a barrel and today about $30 a barrel!)

To punish the West, namely USA, oil was used a weapon.  During those times, due to limited supply, drivers line up daily for gasoline.  Just imagine the American gas guzzling cars of those days had an appetite of about 5 mpg, how can the J cars due to much smaller size and engine, guaranteed to have 50 mpg, not make a killing?

If you guys are interested, I can write some more about these historical events.
